Twitter have knocked Grindr off their ad circle after a report reported the matchmaking app was actually revealing consumers’ individual data with affiliates and marketers.
Grindr, which costs it self as “the whole world’s biggest social network software for gay, bi, trans and queer anyone,” uses Twitter part MoPub to express individual facts, according to the document through the Norwegian customers Council.
“we have been presently investigating this dilemma to appreciate the sufficiency of Grindr’s consent system. In the meantime, there is handicapped Grindr’s MoPub accounts,” Twitter said in a statement to CBS News. Grindr would never become attained for opinion. (more…)
